email or send it to us by fax.

The process is quite simple: simply access your medical records, go to the section dedicated to medical prescriptions, find the one you want to print, open it, download it, and then print it.

But first choose go to this page below the name of your Region or Autonomous Province. On the page that opens, click the button to log in (e.g., Login, Access your records, Access services, Access the service with authentication, etc.), keeping in mind that each Region or Autonomous Province has its own portal and there is no uniform user interface (the instructions I'll give you below will be quite "generic" for this very reason).

Next, choose your login method (e.g., SPID, CIE, CNS, etc.), then click the button to log in (e.g., Enter with SPID) and follow the instructions I'm about to give you.  Once logged in, locate the section dedicated to "citizen services", which is usually located at the top or in the sidebar on the left or right of the page you are currently on.

In other cases, once you've logged in to the Electronic Health Record, you may see a box dedicated to active prescriptions. By clicking on it, you can preview them and then download them using the appropriate button. This will allow you to download the PDF file locally, which you can then open and print using the PDF reader installed on your computer.

On some regional platforms, you can also bypass the document download and print it directly from the Health Record by clicking the Print button, sometimes represented by a printer icon.

Attention: 

Are you a foreign citizen in Italy?

For foreign citizens with a residence permit and resident in Italy, to request SPID you will need:

- a personal e-mail address
- the Italian or foreign mobile phone number you normally use (even if you are not the holder of the contract);
- a valid Italian identity document, such as an identity card
your health card with the tax code or the tax code card (or the respective certificates of attribution).

It is NOT possible to request SPID using the residence permit, but with this you can obtain the identity card that will be used to request for SPID.
